This deployment option works well in smaller environments. The Main Console and subordinates are deployed in your infrastructure with appropriate network access to scan your hosts. The console then reaches out to the hosts in your environment and performs the scan activity the agent executable would perform, without the agent. DeepSurface requires credentials for all of the hosts you will scan; this means DeepSurface must be configured with credentials for a local or domain user who is a member of the host's Administrator group on Windows; for Linux or MacOS, a root user or a user who has root access via sudo is required. Review Reasons for the Administrative Access Requirement to understand this requirement.
