{{COMPANY_NAME}} supports CyberArk as a method of privileged access management that can be used when {{COMPANY_NAME}} performs Authenticated Scanning of your Windows and Mac hosts.

How it Works:

If your organization has enabled CyberArk as the method for managing local Administrator account passwords, you can configure a Scan Credential in {{COMPANY_NAME}} to use CyberArk for accessing the local Administrator passwords for the associated hosts. To use this feature, a configured CyberArk credential should be added to the desired Scan Group(s) prior to running an Authenticated Scan.

Configuring your Scan Credentials in {{COMPANY_NAME}}:

• Navigate to Scanning > Credentialed > Credentials > + Scan Credential.
• Select CyberArk Vault for the PAM Type.
• Select a supported Credential protocol that is supported by CyberArk.
• Fill in the remaining fields.

Configuring SSH key use with CyberArk

• Make sure your SSH key is stored in CyberArk.

  • Log into your CyberArk Password Vault, select 'Add Account', and step through the CyberArk wizard.
  • Note that SSH keys loaded into CyberArk must not be password protected. Use the ssh-keygen -p command to strip a password from an existing SSH key.

• Set the Credential Type/Protocol field to SSH Private Key.

• Fill in the remaining fields. An example is provided below.
