Agent Settings is where the DeepSurface console is configured to support communication with DeepSurface agents installed on your devices.
If there are Windows or Mac hosts outside of your network (such as on employees' home networks) that can not be reached during network scanning, you can install the DeepSurface agent on these hosts. To install an agent, navigate to Scanning > Agents. Select which operating system you want to deploy agents on and follow the on-screen instructions. An example deployment is shown below.

In the example above, this agent is configured to scan systems and report the results to the DeepSurface VM located at your.domain.com
on default port 44305. It is set to scan daily, with the blackout schedule configured so that the agent will not attempt to scan systems during typical business hours.
